This series consists of minutes for various commissions on which the Director of the Dept. of Archives and History served. The commissions include the Alabama Art Commission, Alabama Building Commission, Alabama Centennial Commission, Alabama Governor's Mansion Commission, Alabama Memorial Commission, and the Fort Morgan Historical Commission. The directors who served on the various commissions were Thomas M. Owen, Marie Bankhead Owen, Peter Brannon, and Milo B. Howard.
